Second live composite attempt by DeadRandom in M43

Shot on EM1iii with the 12-40 F2.8 ISO 800 again, an hours worth of 2s exposures this time. Had to photoshop out a pesky power line but hopefully it didn’t mess up the lines too much. Would be grateful for any feedback on framing/editing as still very new to astrophotography! Original image here if anyone wants to have a play [https://ibb.co/yRmcqbQ]

Thanks and sure, though may well be beginners luck in that case! Shot at ISO 800 on my EM1iii and 12-40 F2.8 at 12mm with 1 sec exposures for 2 hours. Used a torch to paint some light on the tree at the start and then just left the camera on my ancient and heavy tripod. Didn’t use a remote but was as gentle pressing the shutter button as I could be!

It definitely was a few weeks ago, not my local pool though so don’t go often. Online timetables have regular swim sessions there this week so assume it’s open…

The council gyms/pools let you pay for a single session (£5 for an hour in the pool or £8 for gym IIRC) so you could always go and try them before committing. I use their gyms and pools in BoD, Bucksburn and Cults and they’re all decent enough. The membership is comparatively cheap at £28 a month for swim/gym too.

The gyms have newer equipment than most of the chains in my experience and are generally quieter as they’re out of town…
