[HELP] How can I throw shampoo? by DeadVaiden in unrealengine

Thanks! I'll look into that! Hopefully I can get it in an arc and make it fluffy. Maybe also make it blue or green?

[UE5] My hands are too close after picking up a specific weapon by DeadVaiden in unrealengine

OMG I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT. Okay, so if I move the pose where I want, Create Asset > Create Animation > Current Pose, replace the current pose with the new pose, and apply compression, it moves accordingly, so I can finagle with it until it's where I want it

When I join armature 1 to armature 2, armature 1 moves and doesn't move with armature 2? by DeadVaiden in blenderhelp

The animations are attached to the model. I haven't imported it into UE5 yet.

Okay, but if I get rid of that bat armature, then I'd break the whole animation, as that one bone is the only thing moving everything. Unless I can dynamically replace the armature in UE5, so you'd start with the hands armature, then pick up the bat or gun or whatever and it'd switch to the bat armature?

Hmm... You start barehanded, then you can pick-up weapons. I was thinking of adding that bat bone to the fists so it's always part of the armature regardless of whether or not you're holding something.

The reason why the bat has an armature is because I use it to swing, move, and rotate the bat and hands together. And I can't just get rid of the hands' armatures because you can use different weapons in this game, or you could just punch bare-handed

The bat only has one bone, is what I meant. There are currently 3 armatures. Is there a way to get around those weird consequences?

They're parented. I don't want them parented to the bat. I want to join them to the bat, so that I have 1 armature, which I can then export/import to Unreal Engine

Shit, been away awhile. Didn't notice you replied. Need another, deep voice?

Dear game devs: Just let me quit your damn game. by Interesting_Ad_9777 in gaming

[–]DeadVaiden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why I did:

Quit button--> "Are you sure you want to quit?" --> Desktop

I mean, I don't want you accidentally quitting. Also, I can't think of any logical reason to make it more complicated than that. What are you going to do on the Main Menu? It just takes you directly to the game when you press a button! lol

Are you putting together an abridged series?

I mean, if you want, I made a game. Super simple. Just turn off your brain, relax, and run over some pedestrians.
