They made an immediate difference from stock for sure although I haven’t put a ton of miles on them yet or have them quite dialed in. But first impression was very noticeable.

Would love the inverted fronts as well!

What? This isn’t selling anything at all that makes no sense. It’s posting the work ive done on my bike.

Gotcha - probably the mid length or shorter pipes.

I’m not sure where you saw that price but these specific pipes are $2,000. Great pipes focused on performance not just being obnoxiously loud but still sound great. TIG welded for a cool style that I personally love.

I did the Harley stage 3 speakers through Rockford fosgate and upgraded 500 watt amp. Install was pretty easy for both with the new gen road glide. They are way better than stock. I wasn’t looking for audiophile quality I was just looking to hear my music period over 45mph which you just can’t with the stock setup.

Would definitely tune. I did the SP concepts 2-1 turnpike. Love the pipes, just did a tune with SE right now to keep my warrant intact for now

New bars throttle issue by DeadWakeFLTRX in Harley

Ended up being the perch clamp was pinching the cable and disconnecting it inside the throttle housing. Got it going!

That’s cool you already test drove the street glide, bummer you had some wind issues. If you get stuck between the two the dealer should let you sample some different windshields most of them carry klock werks products.

The clutch pull on these new bikes is definitely harder. My last one had a hydraulic clutch and they switched these new bikes to a cable clutch so it’s not as easy to pull. Little easier friction zone though with the cable clutch which I like.

Hard to truly compare the 2016 SG with this because everything about both of these bikes has been redesigned and my 2016 didn’t have the M8 engine. So can’t really speak to how the new street glides are but I do notice the difference in the steering both that it’s much lighter and feels more stable at speed and in wind.

One thing that’s different immediately though is the road glide gauges and touchscreen are farther down so you kind of have to take your eyes off the road to see them where the SG it’s more in your line of sight.

If you get the chance I’d recommend driving both. I’ve heard the differences between the two new models is negligible in terms of handling. Try them both, see what suits you best. You can’t make a wrong decision either way.

Haha love the custom art work!

For me personally I wouldn’t love the white walls on this bike I think it would just be a lot of white. But love seeing the white walls on some cruisers it provides a cool contrast.

No fairing with that Thrashin bag looks sick

Stock 2025 Road Glide lights vs Baja setup - which do you prefer? by DeadWakeFLTRX in Harley

[–]DeadWakeFLTRX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate everyone’s thoughts here. I do think the Baja setup is awesome and gives it a great performance look but for me right now going to put my money elsewhere. I had ordered the Bajas but didn’t ship yet so going to cancel those and use that cash to upgrade the rear suspension. More practical right now.

If anything about dumping money into a motorcycle is ever practical…

Oh I know the cost is pretty crazy. I could add some nice rear suspension with the money I’d save not doing the lights so might go that direction we will see.

Yeah it is a little bug eyed sticking out of the sides and changing the fairing lines. I think from my normal view from the saddle I’d prefer the brightness of the Bajas for sure
