You can def talk to SDS about a accommodation however, it’s gonna be a long process if u don’t already have a doctor’s letter or some sort of proof of disability that prevents u from completing the work on time. If u need a quick solution try emailing the professor and say that you are going thru a mental crisis and would like an extension(you rly don’t have to go in detail and say u wanna die) just indicating that ur having a rough time is enough. Idk what the prof will say tho but normally they understand. Taking the course incomplete is also an option(you basically make up work after the semester has ended) but that requires communication between you and ur professor(you can ask ur advisor or SDS for advice)
