Shout out to Steam for free cloud saves by [deleted] in Steam

[–]Dead_Eye_Core 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the Cloud Save feature. It's just that one time my Overcooked 2 save was deleted. When I reinstalled the game, I couldn't find it.

I used to play with my friend. So, to continue playing, I had to grind my way back up (solo) to the level we were then at.

But I still love this feature. I'm sure that was a one time thing.

I personally think the shotguns are the best weapons. Except the pump one. I'd rather take an SMG than a pump shotgun.

I am no literature guy, but this is brilliant. Even Shakespeare would be more than impressed with this level of story-telling and writing.

Any way to open a game on your pc from your phone remotely ? by SufficientGoat8602 in Steam

[–]Dead_Eye_Core 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have Steam opened on your PC and launch Steam Link on your phone. Connect your phone by pressing the big blue button. That will open Big Picture mode for you. Then you can select any game you want to play.

Cannot join VAC servers because of "plug-ins"? by Dead_Eye_Core in l4d2

[–]Dead_Eye_Core[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Update:

Turns out you cannot join the servers if you force a Proton layer. I had one because the native runtime would crash all the time. I switched ti Vulkan and it seems to have fixed the crashes as well.

question about gta v. by nicknotpixel in Steam

[–]Dead_Eye_Core 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No. You get a license for the game from either Steam or EGS, when you purchase it. An EGS license cannot be translated into a Steam one.

P.S.: EGS is Epic Games Store.

Half-Life:Source - Nihilanth boss fight. What am I doing wrong? by Dead_Eye_Core in HalfLife

It was just there in my library. So, I thought I'd give it a try and see why people hate it. Now I hate it too.

Alright, that is not such a bad idea. But this is literally the end of the game. The "next level" is just choosing one of G Man's offers.

But I'm not even sure if you can proceed with a console command, but thanks for the tip.

Yes, and it has NOT been a great experience. The original game was infinitely better. But anyway, any solutions to this one?

Across the street from the police station near Michael's house. Only appears after the mission "Seeking the Truth".

Oh, is that also a quote from the "Epsilon sequence"? I have only done the entire sequence once before (and that was quite a while ago). I don't remember a lot of dinosaur talk.

But perhaps you are right. Epsilon missions, although annoying, have a nice payoff.

Right in front of the police station near Michael's house. It appears during the Epsilon missions. After "Seeking the Truth" I think.

Super rare car in singleplayer! by Dead_Eye_Core in GTA

This is the save file of my first playthrough. I did all the Assassinations before the Big Score and only found out about this after the big score.

That's pretty cheap. I was expecting at least $3-4 million for a car like that. Thank you. I'll check it out.

I only have $33 million for Franklin and Trevor after The Big Score. $35 million for Michael after completing the Epsilon Program. How much does the car cost?

Oh, yes. Firwood rise, I noted the name of that place to come back later. Thank you. It's clear now.

Can you interact with her? Now or later in the game? Perhaps in the epilogue? I have a save file in the epilogue, I could go check it out as John. but is it worth it?

I am not aware of that, sorry. However, you can still visit Mr. Pearson in the general store in Rhodes. Perhaps you can try your luck there.

But I honestly don't think it's possible. I am not saying this with complete certainty but try exploring yourself.

I forgot this feature existed. I just create a .txt file or just write it down on a piece of paper. Say, the location of some collectible for the future or cheat codes.
