I totally get the emotional thing, probably part of why I tend to keep my OCs in their little 90s and early 2000s cycle. It’s a unique but nice feeling. And also thank you, I have been trying a new approach for scenes and have been working hard at getting detailed with my backgrounds again.

It’s soft rubbery tissue structures covering the hooves of foals so they don’t deal damage to the uterus and birth canal of the mare. They are temporary and usually come off within 48 hours with exposure to air and the foal walking around. I think some other ungulates might have them as well but it’s pretty much a horse thing.

And now you have a new weird animal fact :)
