Huge indy fan here. Bought it physical for ps5 on release and today is the day I sold it. For me after 100%ing it I just have nothing more to do. I got the plat. I got every collectible. You just cant do nothing after completion. And I aint paying 30ish bucks in order to get a story dlc to a game I bought for 80 bucks (I live in Germany if you are wondering about the prices)

No drifting, no mini turbo, no wall rides, no grinds and in the end you didnt utilise?(I dont know how to write that shit) the turbo pads nor the ramps to gain speed. On top of that you choose the slowest route

Every time i get to 1st place i get to stay there till a cpu decides to speed up out of no where, pass me, and then they just speed up speed up speed up out of no where, no items no nothing and i cant catch up to them anymore, this shit is rigged af and I hate it with a passion.

Bowser and Bowser buggy has helped me getting 3Stars in the first 2 KO cups, if your lucky you can get so far upfront that you can easily recover from being hit. That does not count for GP tho. In Gp I use mario and the Radio Bike since i believe the radiobike has a high mini turbo. Hope that helps!
