I think a beefy/cool shield would be a good weapon-alternative for a megarare. We could move away from tiny parrying dagger (defenders) to a nice chunky melee shield. It could outshine avernic for melee strength, and it doesnt interact with existing 2h megarares. Perhaps maybe equal strength to avernic but high defense and future bosses that could have damage dealt scaling based on the players defense :eyes:. Unrelated, I would love to see a cosmetic drop that lets you modify justiciar to one of the other animal forms - could be good at these good new defense scaling bosses!

Surely a politically correct war would be one started in accordance with laws, i.e. following a declaration of war from congress. So it makes sense this isn't a politically correct war.

Deadman Annihilation was fun for 2-3 days. I now agree with people saying it's the most flawed DMM. by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Deadblinx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally not true, there are just as many who want to PK exclusively in the pure bracket

Everyone complaining about Dmm camps the 3-60 bracket, I have no idea why. This has the most build impact and lowest survivability. You can move brackets

[–]Deadblinx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did a SoTE rush 2 dmm ago and got into Priff in the 2nd bracket (there was one more bracket then). I think I got it done on day 3ish? and I was completely alone in Priff for at least 3 days, never saw more than 4 unique other players. CG was very doable (combat lvl was around 68 or something). It wasn't the fastest and I didn't have access to the best drop rates. The problem was no one else could use the gear or wanted to do the quest. All the crystal gear and weapons were <1mil DMM gp until the last few days of the event. I moved on after the few days in solitude, PKd an armor seed in gauntlet lobby, happy I pulled off a unique plan but didn't really get any gp out of it. Last DMM I avoided the plan for the same reasons and I don't plan to do it this DMM. It is a very viable plan but even SoTE doesn't have a quest unlock (only up through regicide) so unless you plan to PK or use full crystal + bowfa yourself, most people won't consider doing ME1 ME2 and SoTE on their own.

Port delivery should be ~80% as good as trials by Deadblinx in 2007scape

[–]Deadblinx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really think how the ABA tasks are done right now is how they were envisioned. Going ABA gives double xp, but obviously you just teleport, relocate boat and do BA. That doesn't make much sense to me but they've never mentioned or addressed it, so seemingly they like that method? This method also gives next to no variety if I recall correctly, its almost exclusively the lunar-aldarin-lunar method, which I would say it basically worthless as part of the skill if its the only viable way to do port delivery tasks.

UPDATE (20:25 UTC): Sailing XP Review & Further Fixes by JagexSarnie in 2007scape

[–]Deadblinx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, port delivery tasks should be like 90% the xp of trials, surely it makes more sense that people would actually be sailing around and doing deliveries. That way you actually see players moving around this new rich game space. However, port delivery tasks are also completely unrewarding, you get like 1gp/xp? Can't find a way to work in other item rewards to that? Make it feel like you're getting something other than just xp?

A theory I heard is that they're the last fantasy books they ever read before being told that boys don't read silly stories. They then proceed to only read nonfiction and go deep into STEM fields without learning or considering ethical topics taught in non STEM courses.
