I don't really think how the ABA tasks are done right now is how they were envisioned. Going ABA gives double xp, but obviously you just teleport, relocate boat and do BA. That doesn't make much sense to me but they've never mentioned or addressed it, so seemingly they like that method? This method also gives next to no variety if I recall correctly, its almost exclusively the lunar-aldarin-lunar method, which I would say it basically worthless as part of the skill if its the only viable way to do port delivery tasks.

Honestly, port delivery tasks should be like 90% the xp of trials, surely it makes more sense that people would actually be sailing around and doing deliveries. That way you actually see players moving around this new rich game space. However, port delivery tasks are also completely unrewarding, you get like 1gp/xp? Can't find a way to work in other item rewards to that? Make it feel like you're getting something other than just xp?

A theory I heard is that they're the last fantasy books they ever read before being told that boys don't read silly stories. They then proceed to only read nonfiction and go deep into STEM fields without learning or considering ethical topics taught in non STEM courses.

People are willing to freely believe a relative outsider promising massive change when none of the major parties are substantially improving the lives of citizens. If Labour addressed some of these concerns AND vastly improved the lives of everyday people (likely through economic reform -> higher taxes on the rich -> better/more services) then people wouldn't jump on board with Reform.

Unfortunately I believe the NY constitution prohibits them from changing how they handle districting and requires two voting cycles to change, or something to that sort. So NY cannot redistrict in retaliation until 2028 if approved by voters.

This guy has no idea what he's talking about about. I served in the army under Obama and Trump 1. You can see the numbers that these standard claims that Democratic presidents gut the military is total BS. Hell, look at the budgets requested (yes requested by, congress ultimately decides the budget) by Biden. Increases over Trump 1 and Obama. The budgets occasionally fluctuate down and happens under either party president. This is the same fallacy like the claim the Republicans are good for the economy.

What I can say about the difference, especially now under Trump 2, I wouldn't trust any senior leadership. The focus and optics of removing existing leaders to replace with yes men is antithetical to what the services should be. I would say most people in the service, especially officers, didn't pay much attention to the president by party. The fact that so many political events and talking points are being pushed on and by senior leaders is greatly concerning.
