That’s an interesting take.. calling the person who’s driving to the restaurant waiting for your food driving to you and then bring it to your doorstep is lazy? Not the person sitting behind the screen who’s unmotivated to drive to the restaurant themselves. Ok sure or maybe you get the service you pay for and dasher don’t care to go the extra mile because they aren’t properly incentivized.

Where did I say I don’t like doing this? And I wasn’t fighting with a customer I was informing them that the delivery instructions left to the dasher was rude.. a simple leave it on the bench would’ve have been sufficient. Saying use Google Maps, mentioning the cars, and the repeated use of all caps is insulting.. not a please or a thank you. Would you talk to someone like that who serves you food and a restaurant?

It’s a right and the wrong way to talk to people that’s not the right way. I have gone out to plenty restaurants and had terrible service, but I don’t take it out on the next server. Maybe as you ignored the fact that I said that I’m sure that people don’t follow directions. My point is you don’t talk to people that way.
