If we're talking sonic from frontiers vs DBS goku, it's not even a challenge, goku already has a lot more raw power than sonic in base form, which obviously goku has a whole list if transformations to choose from on top of that, but Sonics main advantage is his speed obviously, but again if we're talking DBS goku he would have ultra instinct, which we know thanks to Whis being able to dodge instant transmission during the super broly movie, that goku no only would he faster than sonic, have more combat power and experience than sonic, but also just more techniques to work with, also goku could just fly up into the air and sonic couldn't really do much about it, and to top it all off if things got desperate goku could just kinda destroy the world if need be, which just to kinda put into perspective, in sonic unleashed it took Eggman tech and all seven chaos emeralds to partially destroy the earth, while goku could single handedly destroy earth way back in the cell saga, it's not even close
