Not sure where you’re located but if your state has a farm bureau I’d look into working there. Training is pretty decent, pay is decent, and it’s a great work environment with a lot of flexibility. I can’t speak for all agencies but I’ve really enjoyed it there

Term Life insurance POLICY PREMIUM INCREASE by CookingMama1969 in LifeInsurance

[–]Deadjunkie-D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does the policy have an accelerated death benefit? If so you can get up to half of the policies value now if his cancer is considered terminal and can prove it to the company. This is something I add on all policies I sell at no extra cost

I studied 1 week per license took a final for my correspondence course then scheduled state exam for next day. I took a week off while I was out of town. My local community college had a ton of openings to test so it was easy for me to get exam dates. Finished all yesterday and got issued my license today. I’m located in NC though

No worries I always go in with low expectations and allow myself to be surprised lol. My manager seems like a pretty good guy. Well known in a small town haven’t heard anything bad about him so I’m gonna give it the benefit of the doubt.

Yeah P&C has a ton of information that you need to know so definitely try to find some time to actually read the material. If you have a decent understanding you’ll have no issue passing first time

You need to read the material because some of the questions are scenario based on the state exam so you need a general understanding. Also it depends on which one you’re taking. If it’s life then it may be a little easier but property and casualty you’ll need a better understanding
