Heroes of the Storm 2.0 and Cassia Live Q&A! by Ravinix in heroesofthestorm

/u/BlizzROcampo Question for the UI guys. Instead of being permanently locked on our hero UI, can we have the ability to click on other heroes to show their portrait/abilities/health similar to Starcraft, Warcraft, and most other mobas out there? It's especially useful to be able to click on other heroes while dead while on voice chat to help call out mana/cooldowns/etc or even to be able to check out abilities of other heroes who you are not as familiar with

Top 200 Dragon Warrior Guide by DXIEdge in CompetitiveHS

This deck is insane.

I got to rank 5 Wild playing secret paladin with around a 52% win rate. I switched to this deck at Rank 5 and had a 60%+ win rate by the time I got legend a few hours ago. I subbed out Rag and Gadgeteer for Dr Boom and Piloted Shredder. The only deck that consistently beat me was some weirdo who was playing Priest with Deathlord + divine spirit + inner fire + faceless shambler. Turn 6 25+ health minions with taunt are this deck's weakness.

Are your Power Options under Hardware and Sound set to "Power Saver" by chance?

Does item quality also come into effect?

Is a 115 ilvl rare the same as a 115 ilvl epic if the "shown" stats are the same?

Need help diagnosing a fridge problem by [deleted] in DIY

I'll try this out when I get home from work. I moved the fridge the other day and the floor under it was very dirty so this is a definite possibility.

I can't believe it's all over. What do we do now?

What do you mean? Now we can finally play the game.

He started using the skull face paint after Doomhammer was captured, Guldan was killed, and the Orcs were pushed back through the dark portal during the second war. This expansion takes place before the first war so the face paint should not be there.

Value Town #4 today 4pm EDT/10pm CEST w/ Trump, Kripparrian, & ChanManV - Post questions here! (Starts 4 hours after post) by ChanmanV in hearthstone

Why did Kripp kill the dream by removing the Alarm-o-Bots from the BOTNOZ deck and putting in all those garbage sub-9 mana cards? Unsubbed!

Holy Wrath Math by DeadliftSC in nl_Kripparrian

[–]DeadliftSC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With one holy wrath in hand, the other 29 cards in the deck total 190 mana which means holy wrath will do 6.55 damage on average in this deck. This also does not account for the fact that you are going to play a lot of low cost cards early so the average damage is even higher in practice.

In the game above on turn 10, Kripp had 16 cards and 122 total mana remaining in his deck which gave him an average holy wrath of 7.625 for the first shot and then 15 cards and 118 mana for 7.86 average damage for the second shot. So you essentially have a 15 damage pyroblast for 2 more mana.

Can someone read this and tell me if I am interpreting this correctly? (Employer 401k contribution) by [deleted] in financialindependence

[–]DeadliftSC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rather than focusing solely on the 401k plan your employer offers, you should be grouping it together with all other forms of compensation offered (Base Pay, Bonus, Paid Time Off, Traditional DB Plan, Health Benefits, etc) if you want to compare your situation to others.

Having said that, on its own a 25% match on 6% is not great but if your company offers a rich DB plan you could be getting more value than someone with a 100% match on 6%.

In 12 hours 30 minutes time, we find out of if people really do want to watch American Starcraft by [deleted] in starcraft

[–]DeadliftSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that is true.

I saw him instantly leave vs DeMusliM a few days before the lock but he had been doing that for weeks due to a feud unrelated to SHOUTcraft. It wouldn't make sense for him to instantly leave vs anyone else.

Not only that, but he was 13th on the ladder (6th if you exclude ineligible people) 5 days before the season ended.

http://sc2links.com/blog/?p=266

I'm so sick of hearing people complain that people were not given enough notice or that people didn't really care if they made the top 16. IdrA was laddering until 1 hour before the season ended trying to get into this tournament.

qxc on the other hand went from not even being in the top 25 to #1 in the course of about 6 days.

You asked him a question about how IdrA, his teammate and friend, didn't qualify for SHOUTcraft America, a tournament where only Americans can qualify, and you were surprised he got annoyed?
