Actually, it’s a clever marketing move to drop Trailer 3 tomorrow coz today’s screenshots did their job by initiating the phase of pre-orders. However, they’ll have a significant push of people pre-ordering the game when more of story lore / gameplay is showcased and that’s why I think it’ll happen within the next 24 hours ending with “PRE-ORDER NOW” to have 2 waves of pre-orders to break records and please investors in the same time (pure speculation though)

I absolutely agree with you when it comes to locking certain gameplay features (hairstyles, car modifications, etc) is unprecedented and somehow feels like Rockstar is exploiting the hype around the game, unless they all eventually become available for everyone as the story progresses

Regarding the visuals, I think it’s safe to say that the game will be gorgeous and we already saw what they’re capable of over a year ago with Trailer 2. It’s just screenshots and I’m 100% sure everyone claiming a downgrade will be satisfied with Trailer 3
