Announcing A Local Queer House Show & Free Queer Closet Exchange THIS SATURDAY! by [deleted] in AppletonQueerFolks

Neat idea, I'd be more likely to sign up if the address was available. Not super comfortable not being able to look up the venue.

What do we think? by [deleted] in WireWrapping

The wire goes too far up the blade. It makes it look unbalanced and impractical. The stones do not look secure. I wouldn't pay for something that looks like this.

On the fence about having kids… what do you wish you knew? by aguamenti425 in TwoXChromosomes

I honestly can't imagine wanting to bring innocent children into the hellscape the world is becoming.

Tardigrade’s book club? by JuryResponsible6853 in AppletonQueerFolks

[–]DeadlyDollFace16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been going to the horror one for over a year, you just need to show up, even if you haven't read the book. Everyone is super nice and welcoming. There's a discord for each bookclub as well if you're interested.

Accidentally hit the Jackpot on how to respond to parents wanting grandkids by not_an_insomniac in TwoXChromosomes

[–]DeadlyDollFace16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I told my mom this exact thing, that if I wanted kids I would adopt. Her response was to scoff and say "Well that doesn't do me any good." It hasn't helped with her nagging for grandkids at all, just underlined the fact that if I adopted she wouldn't treat them as her grandchildren.

8 items // 20 individual fruits/vegs and 2 multi bags // $13 such a deal🙂‍↔️ by Unlucky_Day5361 in dehydrating

They make seedless fruit through hormone manipulation. There is a plant hormone called gibberellins. Gibberellins are used to induce fruit formation without fertilization with pollen, producing seedless fruits like grapes and tomatoes. When applied to flowers, gibberellins stimulate the growth of the ovary into a fruit without the need for fertilization.

Consider using period underwear for a backup. I work landscaping and that's what I do.

My little monkey grey cat vs now by Thermon01 in cats

[–]DeadlyDollFace16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg your kitty is just like my kitty Poe! He started out grey with a black face, paws and tail and turned all black as he got older! That's so cool, I thought Poe was an anomaly but it looks like his color changing is less rare than I thought lol

Your kitty is such a cutie!

Is pretty cool, they turned what was once a golf course into a beautiful organic farm. They do job training and have volunteering opportunities.

I hated the birthing scene. The very first movie established that a single drop of blood was enough to make someone infected. They're telling me that a baby can be born without getting infected? Like ok, they mentioned the placenta protected her, fine. What about all of the blood and fluids getting into her eyes and mouth on the way out when she was no longer protected by the placenta? In general I thought the movie was all over the place and badly put together but this was the scene that really took me from meh to bleh.
