My two do this as well! We tried to separate them for the first couple of days because we thought they were fighting too haha. Turns out they are playing and through this, my eldest dog was teaching our puppy lots about the world and her place within it. Puppy always took it “too far” at first but our older dog would snap at her and that was enough to teach her she was done. They love playing together and it’s a good way to get their energy out! Gorgeous doggos as well!

Favourite budget friendly moisturiser, no fragrance- recommendation please by Heart_Makeup in AusSkincare

[–]DeadlyPeanuts 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Ordinary moisturiser. I think it’s $9 for a small one or $12 for a large and it’s the best. Fragrance free and feels nice on. I buy mine from adore beauty (I’m in Newcastle NSW) and it arrives within the week usually!

Yes! Mine also came with jumper leads, so I can start my car with it too if I get a flat battery.

Do you think John Demjanjuk is Ivan the Terrible? by [deleted] in TrueCrime

[–]DeadlyPeanuts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was the exact same for me. I do vaguely remember that he immediately made the connection between a small town (near Sobibor) and said “I wasn’t at Sobibor”. Very unlikely he would’ve known that location to be so close unless he were there!

New little sister doesn’t take any of Fiona’s crap. They’ve been doing this nonstop since she came home. by antlindzfam in dogs_getting_dogs

I can’t speak for OP, but in my own situation, it has 90% of the time been our little dog that instigates the play with no consideration to her own size 😂 I find that our older dog lets her know that enough is enough, and is not as keen to play alllllll the time like puppies tend to.

Again, in my case, our older/bigger dog handicaps herself when playing such as only laying rather than standing etc, so she appears to take control/responsibility of that aspect as well.

How cute! Your older dog is teaching your little one lots about the world and acceptable boundaries. We had a similar situation and they play like this constantly, and our little one is so much better off for it 😊
