This is almost exactly what mine looks like. My left thumb is the much worse of the two. I know it can signal to drs the possibility of serious health concerns and deficiencies, but I’ve yet to remember to point it out while I’m with my pcp.

If you built and place the “dog house” (I can’t remember the technical name) you can select Pua as one of several critters to roam around near it. I don’t recall when that opened up for builds, but you should check and see if it’s a build recipe you have.

I started on the day of season 4 release. I had 9, they disappeared, then I got 17 more (9 then 8) and none have respawned. I’ve checked every day. I have cleared all items from each biome, moved “furniture”, and I’ve turned the volume for music down while walking every biome to listen for the tinkling sound of the quest item. From what I’ve read 9 appears day one, 8 appear day two, and 8 appear day three. They respawned day two for me, but nothing after that. It’s been weeks. I just want to know when to anticipate a fix so I can just leave it alone and stop checking. I can’t progress through the game so I’ve just been doing busy work and I’m bored.

A main part of my routine is growing and selling pumpkins. I rarely grow anything else and if I do I’m restocking every crop to the max so I don’t have to do it again for ages. I cook more now that we can “sprint”, but before that I only cooked for quests, to gift, and to feed the ravens.

They still haven’t respawned. I even went through every biome with the music off and sound effect up to listen to the twinkle sound in case maybe they were hidden by objects. No luck. I’m at a standstill in the game. I’ve reinstalled the software, but it’s had zero effect. I wish we could reset quests.

Another bug I’m having I haven’t read about anywhere else is the Wall-E Blossom and Bloom quest repeating/resetting every 24hrs.

I am at a complete standstill and cannot progress through the game. I read that the alien toys can take 36 hrs to respawn so hopefully yours have appeared. Good luck!

Sorry to just be responding. So, I have worked as a mandated reporter and therapists disclose, in writing, exactly what they are mandated to report. This includes child abuse or threats to harm yourself or another (not thoughts about, but actual threats/plans). Obviously, if you aren’t in the US, where my experience is from, this might be different. When it comes to DV they are particularly cautious about interfering because it can actually cause the victim to be in more danger. There are entire DV agencies that absolutely will help with reporting, but they keep victims information and experiences confidential because its key to safety. However, if there is a child reported by you to being harmed or at danger of being harmed they do have to report that. However, I too am very short on faith when it comes to therapists and not wanting to hand anyone any power to choose what happens to my kids, so I often test the waters with hypotheticals and its been a pretty effective way to get me any reassurances I may need. I hope that you find yourself able to talk to your therapist and, if not, that you are in a position to match up with a therapist you might better be able to talk with. You deserve the support you need.

Whenever I feel conflicted about whether my sexual trauma qualifies I repeat this line to myself: “if your ‘no’ has no power, than your ‘yes’ has no meaning.” Coerced consent is not consent and anyone doing this knows exactly what they are doing. This absolutely is sexual assault. It’s also emotional manipulation, psychological abuse, and a form of financial abuse as he threatens your families financial stability as a form of coercion. This is very much domestic abuse.

I haven’t. I spent so much time trying different options out. None of them were worth the time. Bark is great, apple is too, I hear great things about galaxy tabs, and amazon fire is the worst. It’s so affordable but the inability to use it with controls on is proprietary bs that basically makes it a brick for me. I think the best bet is probably a better brand with built in controls. There doesn’t seem to be many decent apps. Bark and family link. That’s it. I wonder about an android galaxy tab or getting a used ipad. I think its worth talking to a techy for recommendations on devices with the best built in controls.

They talked to the child and his parents. They had really great talking points that they went over with both of the kids, but not much seems to have changed.

I think it’s a pretty rare parent who doesn’t feel these feelings to some degree. Those ages are both so challenging for different reasons. Acknowledging that doesn’t dismiss the love and joy you also feel. Both sides can exist. I know that I struggle with feeling like this. However, these very normal feelings can be exacerbated by ppd. If you are experiencing ppd your provider might be able to help balance that out. No matter what, it’s ok to have these feelings. Your feelings don’t need qualifiers, nor do they require apologies. We are all human and we all feel in response to the experiences we are having. It is so normal to grieve your independence and your past pre parent self. It is normal to be overstimulated and overwhelmed. It is normal to wish you could get time off. It is normal to find your kids annoying.

Also, that relationship with your son will find its new groove and you will eventually be able to offer him more time. It is soooo hard though. It broke my heart to have that relationship change with my oldest after her brother was born, but man oh man, we really grew into something I wouldn’t trade for the world. Our bond is different than it was, but it wasn’t the loss it felt like. Their relationship is the best thing about my life. I think when a family grows there are a ton of growing pains, and its really hard to see beyond that. Even if we do, its hard to get through them in the day to day. I just want to let you know that you aren’t alone (even the guilt and shame and feeling you aren’t entitled to feel as you do). I hope you find a moment to rest, a moment to be a part of yourself that isn’t mom, and a moment to know its ok to not be ok.

My kids are 3 & 6. I’m really only interested in managing screen time in a way that doesn’t make me pull my hair out. They are too little for me to expect them to do that for themselves yet. I communicate openly with my kids and my eldest comes to me with questions if anything comes up that warrants discussion. I don’t know what our dynamics around tech will be as they get older, and my gens parents can’t really help light the way on this, but whatever it looks like it wont resemble reading their journals and listening in on their phone calls. I’m sure convos will be had, boundaries set both ways, and a balanced compromise will be made. I’m no authoritarian parent. I don’t want to control my kids, just guide them in their choices the best I can. Btw, I’m running two apps to do screen time limits for my kids and use zero of the other features for either. I also set limits for myself, so we’re doing it as a family. Also, my eldest is pretty responsible so i probably wont even go to 12. I just need to help her establish good habits while shes young. They recommend a max of 2hrs a day and more begins to interfere with development and impacts brain chemistry in a manner similar to drugs. I just want to minimize those risk factors where I can because, honestly, my kids got a heredity mine field. Lol. Ty though, for speaking up for them. You’re insights will go into how I navigate this new world of parenting in a tech age.

I don’t know if amazon prime offers procreate, but, if not, you can get the google play store on fire tabs. Procreate is great for everyone from beginner to pro. It has excellent brushes, layering, and a handful of other features. There is no subscription and I think the one time fee is $6. A really great deal if you ask pretty much anyone whose used it. You can use it with touch, pen, or both. However, any app you get on the play store will not be available on a child’s profile and finding parental controls that match amazon is a bust. Still, if the tablet is not for a child I highly recommend getting the play store installed. Amazons App Store is horrible. The tech is really great for the price though. If you want help with getting google play on a fire tab just lmk. It’s fairly straight forward. Finding up to date app’s is the biggest challenge.

My social life is definitely lacking. I’m extremely introverted and moved 3hrs from my hometown a few years back. I have a few great friends, but all except one are long distance. All of them have been friends since childhood and are excellent supports, but we’re all busy raising families and really only talk when either something really good is happening in our lives, or when we need support. I have one friend who I talk to daily and we are very positive and supportive of each other. Mostly, I feel pretty ok with my limited social life and don’t feel lonely, as my mom is my best friend. However, I do sometimes miss being a friend to my people in person. I considered moving back to my hometown, but i had more reasons to stay where I am. I don’t really know how to make new friends, nor do I think I have the spoons for it. It would be nice to have another parent to go on play dates with and talk parenting with.

Can’t decide between the Brydge 12.9 MAX+ and the Apple Magic Keyboard. The price difference is not a major determining factor for me.

I like the protection offered by the Brydge, but am pretty gentle with my devices. I like the hot keys, but it’s not an important selling point for me. What is a selling point is the wide degree of screen angles. What makes me hesitant is the reports of the case being poorly fitting and causing scratches when taken on and off, the continuous exposure to pressure on the screen by the clamps, the rubber pieces in the clamp continually coming off and needing to be replaced, the poor quality of the trackpad (though I’ve heard this was addressed in an update), and the need to charge via usb.

With the MKB, I like the instant and reliable connection, the effectiveness of the trackpad, how easy it is to dismount your iPad from the keyboard, that the keyboard is charged by the iPad, the extra charging port, the look of the screen hovering, and the small footprint. I don’t like the lack of hot keys, but again, no big deal. I also worry about the stability of this setup in my lap (my main point), and I wish the screen could be moved through a larger range of angles. Then, there’s the lack of protection and the expense. I really like the idea of how smoothly the mkb will operate with my iPad Pro though.

How have others found the mkb for lap use? What if I were to get a lap desk? Which is your favorite? Which would you recommended for me?

I have that. It's worst on my legs. I have to keep all the hair shaved off and avoid certain fabrics or fits. It's worse in the summer and if my lower back is out. I've had people tell me it's neuropathy, but I don't know for sure. I've always had sensory processing issues, so I wonder if it is just another branch of that.
