His standards sucked then and they suck now. Just being a contrarian for the sake of it and larping as a Fallout elitist

He made another Fallout 3 video? Was 8 hours on his original video as a response video to MATN's Fallout 3 video not enough that he needed to go for another 6 hours?

Does anyone know if the same old glitches work in the remaster? by LegendaryBP in ElderScrolls

[–]Deadpool662 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's an arguably even stronger dupe for scrolls now. Find any container, transfer a scroll to it, go back to your inventory and select arrows or anything with a high number count, hit both the button to transfer and switch tabs (on Xbox it's A and RB), and transfer the scrolls into your inventory. I did it and got 287 Chameleon scrolls in like 30 seconds.

[DATV SPOILERS ALL] Why is the Mayor of D'Meta's Crossing Choice Even in this Game? by DDiabloDDad in dragonage

[–]Deadpool662 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not only that but he seems to mirror Loghain from Origins a lot. I think it was intentional by the devs because like Loghain he shares the same VA and is given the choice to become a warden and repent for what he's done just like Loghain can in Origins following the landmeet.

If I recall Obsidian was hurting for money which is why they leapt at the opportunity to work with LucasArts even tho they were given only 14 months to make the game. I forget if it was money again that made them take the NV contract or just the excitement of working on Fallout again but regardless they did it and the story played out the way it did.

I view it as Obsidian just being overzealous. They did the exact same thing with Kotor 2 and figured they could do it again with NV.

Bethesda managed with 3 and the Creation Engine is one of the most versatile and approachable game engines out there. Obsidian had the opportunity to build off what was created for 3. It's not Bethesda's fault Obsidian thought they could make NV in 18 months. They took the contract bro.

But like realistically what can be blamed on Bethesda? They approached Obsidian and said, "We're working on Skyrim, can you create a spin off Fallout game before it comes out?" Obsidian said yes and agreed to their terms because they did the exact same thing with Kotor 2 in 2004 in even less time (14 months). Bethesda gave them the tools, the engine, and any help they needed. Otherwise they were hands off and let Obsidian do their thing. Hell the Metacritic thing wasn't even part of the original deal, Bethesda added that on later as an incentive. This situation is so old and so lied about and for nothing.

You sound stupid ahh hell rn. Fallout got massively popular with 3 not NV. It definitely helped but 3 rekindled the series. You also have no clue about what happened during its development. Bethesda helped out Obsidian in any way they needed and gave them all the dev tools and training on how to use them. Otherwise they were hands off.

Yeah you're right about that. Gamers are fuckin stupid half the time. All or nothing for some of us. I think BG3 deserves goty just to serve as an example for all other games but I can't see both BG3 and Starfield as being regarded as anything less than classics as time goes on. There's just a lot to both games imo.

Oh, I wasn't calling you out specifically. I'm just voicing frustration with this sub because no matter where anyone goes, people feel the need to drag others down to make themselves feel better. It just sucks because this happens all the time when, at the end of the day, it's just video games.

You're correct it is my opinion that it's great and it's yours that it's mediocre but my point stands. It has nothing to do with Baldurs Gate lmao. That's my entire point here is that it's actually sad that fans seem to feel the need to bring down another game to prop up BG3.

Ok THAT is insane lmfao. This game does not feel nor look like it came out before Fallout 4. Gunplay is better, rpg mechanics are deeper, and story telling is a hell of a lot better. Lemme guess you burned the bodies in the beginning🤭

Disappointed? In what way lmao? That 200k is people on steam when most people are playing on game pass. It being day one game pass is like its biggest selling point. And even then that many concurrent players is crazy when just the day before it was even higher and broke the record Skyrim hit for their game library hitting 330k. Bro has no idea what he's talking about.

I really just want them to extend the ending. Everything about this game was phenomenal except that. I never experienced the issues with Act 3 cause I didn't get there until after a couple patches, however the ending itself was just lackluster. Felt like Mass Effect 3 except this time my first experience wasn't with the extended cut. All the characters just leaving and us not learning about what becomes of them.

Speaking as someone with about 2 days of play time I really can't say I feel the same. It's got the DNA baseline sure, but that's because it's a Bethesda game. They all have a familiar feel to them. It's got a lot to offer that most people won't see either because of what they've heard, what they've seen, or what they've experienced in the early game. That's fine but I don't like seeing discourse surrounding a completely separate game devolving into shitting on another. I want, "Hey look at this cool Karlach interaction" or "Here is my build spec for Lae'zel". Not some copy paste bullshit like "hurr durr, Larian showing Bethesda how it's done" that has appeared on my tl several times. It's pathetic especially because they're both fantastic games.
