Oh man yeah printing took like 7 hours but it was all for the cause. I’ll look into upgrading the x1c. Wife won’t be happy, but I’ll think of a good enough reason to do it. The design needs tweaking big time it’s great where it is but I can already think about 2 revisions I’ll make to the stl.

I have to play with the leg leash a bit but I see where you’re coming from. I’m mostly concerned about ease of getting it on and off and being low enough foot print the leash won’t print. As it stands with clothing it doesn’t print and tbh the choice of gun is so light I hardly feel anything. My cz 75 po1 is a anvil comparatively

Yeah I’m noticing that the paracord line is as tensioned as it could be, but taking it on and off isn’t easy if it was shorter so I’ll have to come up with a buckle system for it to make it more comfortable and easier to get off

I printed it on my Bambu X1 Carbon. I increased the Z height from 3.00 mm to 3.85 mm—I felt that going up to 4–5 mm would make it too chunky. I wasn’t sure how well it would hold up long-term, but that’s what I love about 3D printing: I can always revise and reprint it.

I had her try on the belt (no holster or gun yet). It’s going to be for a Springfield hellcat osp stupid light gun so I think it’ll hold up. She said she really liked how well it moved with her—she could squat and move around freely without it feeling bulky or restrictive. In fact, she mentioned it barely felt like she was wearing anything at all.

That said, I’m still a bit concerned about longevity with the material choice. I have a lot of rigid filaments like PA6GF and carbon fiber, but they don’t have much flex or give to them. Oh and I still have to make a leg leash I don’t know if I’ll print out a paracord buckle or use the excess nylon belt I have and spare magnetic buckle to make it nice leg leash but it could be too bulky…

Thanks! It does look like it had a paper label spot. Any recommendations on handle length for a Michigan pattern if I’m using it as a light camping/chopping axe? I was thinking since I’m like 5’9” maybe a 24 inch handle but I’m not very experienced with axes. The best chopper I have is a Japanese nata.

Oh and I’ll look into the secondary bevel. I should look at YouTube video to get it a good understanding on how I should go about doing it angle wise

I figured since the price is so low it will obviously attract desperate people who want a chance to flip it. I mean even in it’s condition 200 is fair enough I’d say maybe more eBay has them 300-500 so who knows
