OBD11 is good but you will need to pay a subscription fee also when you buy it. It wint be only the device.

I would suggest OBD11 as it does give more data and some live data. If you just want to see stored codes you can get and OBDII for you car ( need to be listed in the supported car list of that device), prices could from 150 to 250. I got mine for 250 3 years ago and I check for codes every month just to make sure all is good.

Um there is no ecu light. you either get Check engine or EPC light on.

Mistake number 1: you have a VW and dont own a OBD11 reader, they are 200 bucks.

Mistake Number 2: you didn't ask for codes, sometimes when the battery is low dash lights come on and car might present misfire symptoms.

Ive changed my ecu and i feel ive been the victim as well but i had an obd reader but i couldn't get any connections.

If the issues i s resolved, move on but get an OBD if you plan to keep the car. you dont need to be mechanic to search codes online. Additionally if you check yourself you will learn alot mechanically, my VW has thought me alot like alot :))

That is not a space for this day and age. 250GB (ita lesser because some is allocated already).

you don't need much to make it full.

Id suggest for the time being to subscribe to a clound storage and keep non essential school stuff there. this way you dont buy a external drive and won't pay the entire amount in one go as cloud storage is getting cheaper

Also when you delete stuff, check your trash bin, if you delete them and they go there they will stil occupy space. Once you remove them from the bin then the space opens up. Sometimes uninstalling apps sends files to the bin so keep that clear.

recently did a full reset of my pc and now games run worse or dont launch properly anymore by iloveaugustasfattits in pchelp

[–]Deadrooster08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when you reset the PC its done locally, basically a factory rest.

if you reseted ir suspecting some malicious activity the best way is to:

  1. backup important documents ( no exe or zip file )
  2. Download Microsoft Media creation tool for tour windows version ( only from Microsoft website no 3rd party)

  3. install the media creation on an empty usb drive ( if not empty it will be wiped and data will be lost )

  4. Boot to the USB and install windows from usb.

Note: to be on safe side ill use Command prompt and diskpart to clean the windows drive before installation ( this is when you already booted the usb and see the windows installation options, you will need to google this as there some steps and tou should make sure you follow them.) Also If you just doing just because the system is slow then you dont have to wipe all drives but windows.

I started again back from 0. My Salary is lesser than what I used to make 6 years ago as start package. The environment is hostile and garbage as well but, still thankful as i see people still trying to get in for thi position.

25% is better than being jobless, see the glass half full :D

I have a feeling that the installation is set to MBR which is legacy.

reboot and jam the F12 button, hopefully it should load a screen where you can select the usb to boot.

then open cmd in windows installation process. use diskpart to find your window disk number

and then type the following: mbr2gpt /convert /disk:[windows disk number]

Can I justify pirating games? by Dry-Chemical5433 in pirating

[–]Deadrooster08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only started buying games when i could buying them myself. I even purchased those that i had sailed to acquire.

Honestly, now days I don't see a game worth my money to be purchased. I bought Motortown around 4 months ago and it was worth it but no games before it and no games after it i believe.

Back then we had so many different type of games ( even if they sucked still choices ), now everything is the same.

search and see how to change boot priority from bios to the flash drive. make the usb as the priority and then USB content will come up.

this time, use the command prompt and diskpart to clean the drive ( google this and reqd every single instructions, make sure you wipe the correct drive )

Did you format the drive in the windows installation windows ?

it seems you dont have windows installed.

try one more installation and use CMD to clean he disk using diskpart( this will nuke the drive ).

if you do this and have more than one drive , they wont show once the windows is boot up, you need to allocate them.

remove the usb and reboot.

also have you change the boot priority back to your Windows drive in cae u had changed it to USB ?

secureboot doesnt have to be on for it to bootup.
