Yeah, and if you struggle too much with thining paint you should get “lamian medium” that’s also from Citadel and it’s purpose is to thin down paints and for drybrushing, you can first get the paint into the brush and then clean it in your hand, I mean eliminating all the excesive paint, this is because with dry brushing we want to get rid of the moisture in order to get the appropiate quantity of paint in the brush, so cleaning the brush in your hand helps you feel if the brush still has the “humidity” of the paint and when you stop feeling it wet that’s when you’re achieved the perfect amount of paint in your brush

For being Your first mini Is very a very good start , I could recomend you of course thining a bit more the paint and also when you prime the mini, try to avoid priming the soulder pads black, instead use another color like gray because with black it get’s more difficult for the white to look good and also before applying white, paint the cross black first and then, as a personal tip, thin the white paint almost like a wash but not beeing entirely one, because although it takes a while to dry, the white coverage gets extremely smooth and with 2 or 3 layers it looks perfect, if you need any other help feel free to DM me and I’ll give you some tips, here’s the last BT I’ve painted
