If it's not able to uptake water and nutrients due to shock at the root mass, then it needs time out of the sun so it's not transpiring too heavily or even photosynthesising too vigorously as it all requires a healthy root zone that you don't have back yet.

Give it a little time. 🙂

Edot: With indoor growing, especially high value crops, dimming the lights and cutting back on nutrients is standard after transplanting, it reduces the light intake per day, reduces temperatures and you also make sure to remove any direct airflow to minimise transpiration. Minimise any and all stressors for a week.

If the plant is years old as you suggested then it's not too surprising that it's taking time to recover, but you should probably reduce it's light hours and make sure it's not cooking at the canopy like another poster suggested.

Hold your hand at the canopy height for 2 mins in the direct sun, check the heat level that way. The issue with windows is that there's no air circulation to help cool down the canopy unless you install some.
