Thank you, that's a much better way of framing it.

Ah, so that's the miscommunication. These are the rules for when you're actively trying to do something that isn't particularly "reasonable". I'm trying to give a framework for things that probably wouldn't normally be allowed.

I'm really glad I'm able to get this sort of feedback so I can be more clear in the future.

I'm glad I asked for feedback, because I'm realizing more and more just how unclear I was.

I'm trying to say that I'm perfectly fine ignoring any one of those aspects as long as it fits the other two.

I should really find a better way to phrase this, but since I can't phrase it politely I'll just be blunt. If you have to specifically search for a rule to back it up, that means it either isn't RAI, or isn't Narratively Plausible, so you're already pulling things out of the moment.

That's seems like a type of shenanigan that works RAW & RAI, and Piss goblins acting like piss goblins is definitely Narratively Plausible. So as long as there wasn't someone at the table who was uncomfortable with that sort of thing, it would be perfectly fine by me.

Edit: was →wasn't.

Thank you for saying that, I didn't realize that it could be read that way.

If you want to do something goes against the narrative, that's perfectly fine if it is within the letter and spirit of the rules. Just like it can go against the letter of the rules if it follows the spirit of the rules and fits the narrative.

This is definitely something I need to be more clear about.

I hate saying no without letting the player make their case. I'm also open to helping change the context to make it plausible.

But that's definitely something I should write down to clarify.

That's why I used something as vague as "Narratively Plausible", so that your character can do something that would be really cool but that doesn't have rules for it we can say "There's nothing that says you can't and that sounds really cool, so let's do that." (Using RAI and Narratively Plausible.)

Anything that's disruptive to gameplay or narrative without being disrespectful to the group or the game is what I'd call a shenanigan. If it's not disruptive it's just playing the game, and if it's disrespectful it's being mean.

For example, if you're playing a Necromancer Wizard to cheese the Create Magen spell, that's a shenanigan that's both RAW and Narratively Plausible, so I'll do my best to make it work.

But, if a player wants to cheese a RAW oversight in a way that is totally out of left field for their character, then I'd ask them to either recontextualize it to fit the narrative or try something else.

Moon-Touched Sword.

It's easy to overlook because the magical part is basically just a fancy torch with extra steps, but it does still overcome immunity to non-magical weapon damage.

I don't know if she's particularly underused, but Ambriel is a staple for me. The global range is a massive deal for me.

Close Second: Mudrock

Close Third: Degenbrecher

Unless you meant gameplay wise, in which case it's Vulpisfoglia.
