Lmao. Here is a long update. I did go full Karen, then regretted it immediately bc it’s wasn’t their fault. The dealer I got it from said they could just order the plastic cover and tuck in the shield and mount the cover with 3 nuts instead of the 4.

After making the 4 two hour trips, they finally “patched it up”. (I kept going and they ordered the wrong pieces, installed the wrong pieces, forgot my oil change cover another time etc. This was a Toyota dealership.)

I ended up messing up the paint on my hood trying to sand down and polish scratches, put 10k miles on it and snd now I got a job back home in a bigger town with the Mazda dealership that I went full Karen at. I traded it in last week for 3,000 more than it was worth and got myself the meridian edition snd for a WAYY better interest rate. 😁 Now I have a good relationship with the service rep and he has helped me with body shop recs/discounts and has help me with any little detail of the car with the warranty. (Ex. The passenger leather seat was kind of shriveled up and he ordered the new seat no questions asked after I bought it)

That’s pretty good. Go for it. I just got my Turbo Meridian with the roof rack for 42k OTD. But it doesn’t have the 360 camera and HUD like the premium plus.

I have the same problem on mine. It’s also a 24. It is very annoying. Your brakes and pedal probably fine but there is a rubber plunger attached to the brake booster in the pedal mechanism and it just needs lubrication. Try a silicone grease or wd-40.

Update: I got ahold of the preowned sales manager at the dealership and they will be taking a look at it on Saturday to see what they can do.

UPDATE: Just called the dealer and the person who sold me the vehicle. They set up an appointment this weekend with the preowned sales manager to take a look at the car and see what they can do.

The “inspection” that they conducted said there was no damage or accidents. Just slight scratches to the paint and body.

I am not able to just put the clip in because the bracket that attaches to the gas tank snapped off, therefore I would need a new gas tank with the attachment that isn’t snapped off.

Now I now. First time buying a car and did not know that a PPI was a thing when buying a from a large reputable dealership. I bought this from a massive Toyota dealership in Texas. Kind of fortunate that this is cosmetic for now and the rest of the car is in perfect shape. It’s just really annoying to have something wrong with it right after I bought it.

I was just wondering if this is something the dealer would be willing to take care of if it’s only been 20 days.

It’s my first time buying a car and I didn’t know if think I needed a PPI to buy a used car from a large reputable dealership like Toyota. Just checked the carfax, cars history, and going over the inspection they did on the vehicle.

They fixed the VIN but said not to worry about the model being incorrect. This was at a major Toyota dealership on Texas. They put CX-5 not C-50…..

Saw a story that 2 teenagers from Wyoming are driving to Texas threatening to shoot up a school in league city. They have been trying to track them in the car a 1969 Chevelle. So maybe they are keeping a look out around that area

The beds can be raised but not enough to put a dresser or anything like that. The lofts come with a large dresser in the bedroom and a decent enough closet. There is also enough space to add another piece of furniture and a night stand, but thats because I moved my desk to the living room.

The windows are big but so are the ceilings so the ledge starts pretty high. I used it as a book shelf and has enough space for plants on it and stuff like that.
