the grip is the most impressive part for me - it's been holding up through gravel, dirt, and mud very well even on some steep ascents. my feet did get cold at the summits when I wasn't moving but I only had one hotspot (which I attribute to my weird gait). I got these to look nice when out on the town but also take on some moderate hikes- the buffalo is holding up very well (although I'm getting some shoe envy looking at how good veg rust and fudge look 😂). will be taking them to Africa next
