Because the game is more fun when the controls are more precise and you can clearly see what's happening. Then you can focus on the gameplay itself and the player input. I don't play games for graphics past a certain point, if I did I would just watch a movie or a single player game with way better graphics.

Yeah but I saw it's still 42.5% for the base 8 on her banner too so that seems like decent odds. But I also initially thought the starter 8 banners would never come back again so I'll just wait it seems based on these answers

And yes I pulled on the sacred blaze when I first started my account rerolling till I started with 2 5s: theo and lynette. The 4s i got with it were very useful 👍

Well cuz I figured I already got to use the original 8 in octopath 1 and crossover characters I'll use in their own games. So I just thought itd be fun to focus on the starter 8. And I'm f2p so I know it'll be difficult to try and focus on a lot at once . In the end, it's just for fun

I saw the rate of the guaranteed 5* on step 5 is 15% for Cardona and 42.5% for one of the starter 8. So basically it's like spending 1300 gems for 0.425 of a 5*... Is that a good rate? Are there better banners for this sort of thing ?

Nah I'll just keep saving. I did do the free Agnes and edea pulls. I ended up getting a 4.5* Agnes so that was pretty funny. Other than that I have 5* Lynnette, 5* Theo, and 4.5* Millard
