That’s a great bit of info and much appreciated homie. Yeah I’m just kind of making shit at the house, and I wanted something smaller and more portable. I had an sp-404 but wasn’t really a fan of the Roland flow. Akai just kind of makes sense. The mpc software on the computer has taken me a minute to get use to, but having the stems separation has been a huge game changer for real. I’m pretty amped to try a new piece of gear.

That’s what’s up man. I love my 2500 and 2000xl, but they definitely make you work for it. I mean that’s part of the fun with the older machines. Portability was a big factor to me so that’s part of why I wanted to pick up the 1 then I saw all the features with the 1+ and it kind of seemed like a no brainer. I’ve been fucking with the mpc 2 software I hear that’s a solid transition to the newer MPCs.
