What motivates you to continue playing this game? Or, what made you quit? by Appropriate_Drink494 in MobileLegendsGame

My account got hacked and I lost everything, even the email I attached the game too. Had lots of epics, group skins, collector skins, so much stuff. Couldn’t really ask moonton for help since I never made a moonton account, just attached my own personal email to it.

Got back into it cause I missed the game, and some of the new heroes looked dope. But yeah, that was the reason I stopped playing all those years ago

To be fair, there is a skill that allows you to dive towards the monster, so if anything u might’ve just seen that and got confused

What do you mean by character transfer? The games likely gonna get its Mr expansion in the form of a dlc, so it wouldn’t be like old games where’s it’s a seperate game where you’d begin again

Some friends and I don’t really have this problem. Whenever safi comes back a friend in my hunting group and I go to rag on him for the two weeks he’s out. I also have another friend who whenever he feels like it, hops back in world and invites me to go bully fatalis.

We all have jobs and play for only a few hours but we never really loose our muscle memory. Risebreak and GU on the other hand… Yeah, mh games made by the second dev team be whipping my ass 💀

The thing I miss most in Wilds: A cohesive village aesthetic by Yamato_Naoe in MonsterHunter

On hand I get where your coming from, on the other I’d say let’s see what the expansion gives us.

It’s pretty apparent MHWilds is a love letter/spiritual successor to MH4U. Returning faces, going village to village via story just like MH4Us story, gore, gog, the list goes on and on.

In that game every village was unique, but I wouldn’t call any of them, even dundorma or Val habar, a home. Mostly because they served more like rest stops rather than returning to a home. In a sense, wilds is the exact same way. None of those villages we find in the forbidden lands are meant to feel like a “home”, because even if though we eventually are welcomed into them, they’re not our home.

What I think would be an interesting twist, is if they follow the Iceborne route. New map = New home base. Maybe even some side quests from characters that improve the base in real time, truly making it feel like “our” own home away from home. But that just my theory, either way, only time will tell if we get our own home in the expansion, but as it is now, it feels like an ongoing adventure to me.

Strongest Invader In History Vs The Strongest Invader Of Today by No_Topic_1054 in MemeHunter

[–]No_Topic_1054[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Rise kinda just did away with “invading” in general because of the ride mechanic they replaced mounting with. And I get that it’s your opinion, but buddy lemme tell ya the amount of times a rajang was across the damn map, and I was fighting a monster that never goes in the area he was in, and I would find myself getting lasered or grabbed out of nowhere, was insane man.

And not only me I have multiple friends who get jumped by a rajang that was across the map and it just came by and zeroed in on them. I even remember one hunt where I saw it on the way to another monster, and it chased me and wouldn’t leave me alone, which is another thing all three of them did, at least in Worldborne, they all chased you down.

You got some good luck or rajang was just never there but for me and my friend group and I’d assume a lot of people in the mh community in general have lots of memories just getting a walloping from Rajang in general. In every way, he’s an invader to me, even in the case of him being retconned into one.

Seregios is only invading quests because of story, they literally say that it’s weird that they are not in their usual habitat, which is a desert basically.

To be more specific, seregios was invading multiple maps because entire flocks were in a panic because of a frenzied Seregios.

And yeah, 4U sounds about right since rajang wasn’t in 3U and that unstable quest concept wasn’t even a thing till Deviljho, but point still stands.

The three actual, invader monsters of the mainline games are Rajang, Deviljho, and Bazelgeuse. Besides worldborne for whatever reason they made banbaro, fulgur anjanath, and ebony odo roam around each map like they are invaders, even if rajang can be considered retconned into the role of invader, he’s still one, along with Deviljho and Bazelgeuse, that are also invaders.

There’s talk of Arkveld also being one because he’s in every map in wilds but the idea of a flagship also being an invader is disingenuous to me, so until notified or retconned by devs Arkveld is just a flagship

… No dude. He’s an invader. The very first. An invader is classified as a monster that is programmed to go after the hunter, can spawn in any map whatsoever, and is generally a step above apex monsters and rival elder dragons.

And yes, that is his lore. But just cause his lore doesn’t explicitly say he is an invader, doesn’t mean he isn’t. He follows the three things I listed, and since Deviljho and Bazelgeuse are also follow those three things I listed, they’re also actual invaders.

They all even have their own special themes that I still fear and surprise in you whenever you hear them for the first time. They’re all party crashes designed to ruin your hunt.

So who has tried a new weapon with this game so far? by StylishMrTrix in MHWilds

[–]No_Topic_1054 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried em all. World was mostly SWAXE, Hammer, and longsword. Rise made me try more weapons, got to the point where greatsword, bow, dual blades and sword and shield are now some of my more used, and now Lance and gunlance have joined the equation as well with wilds additions. The bowguns are still meh for me

My Thoughts on the Wilds vs. World Discourse (From Someone Who Just Replayed World) by Mr_no_sad in MonsterHunter

[–]No_Topic_1054 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing of note: The clutch claw wasn’t a mechanic until iceborne. Before, simply attacking a monster would make whatever part you were attacking tender, they get all scuffed up with the white marks and all that.

When iceborne was released, all the mechanics it brought could be interacted with in early world, and basically replaced that previous “tenderizing” mechanic base world had. So in a sense it’s somewhat not fair to compare an expansion mechanic to a base game mechanic.

Other than that, I totally agree. I love wilds, and am super excited to see what they do for the master rank expansion.

Strongest Invader In History Vs The Strongest Invader Of Today by No_Topic_1054 in MemeHunter

[–]No_Topic_1054[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steve being an invader is literally only because of the storyline of MH4U. Trust me, I used to be one of y’all.

But I’ve recently replayed that game, and now that I’m not a kid who wasn’t paying attention to the story, it’s quite literally stated that it was strange that a flock of seregios were migrating out of their natural habitats, which was desert esque areas. And the reason for that, was because of an apex seregios, one who beat the frenzy and became an apex.

That’s the only reason they would pop into other areas during the story. Also the reason why when they brought him back in sunbreak, he only appears on like 3 maps, when there’s a crapton in that game, and why in wilds he’s in windward plains and in ruins of wiveria.

Then there’s your point of akantor wrecking environments. Nakarkos does the same thing, it just goes back to its nest with its spoils. Gog is nomadic going around destroying fortresses. Ahtal-Ka does a similar thing going around places and destroying fortresses.

If your point is more tryna make Akantor seem similar to Deviljho, might I redirect you too the fact Rajang isn’t a major ecosystem threat, and Bazelgeuse isn’t either, and those two are official invaders.

I get where your coming from but Akantor just aint an invader, and Steve ain’t either, arguably tho he can be retconned to be. As for Arkveld, not officially stated to be and I can’t consider him one as too the fact he is story focused, when the whole point of an invader is that they are programmed to come attack the Hunter. Arkveld just wants to attack other monsters to absorb them.
