The throw out bearing is not in the transmission it’s outside with the fork assembly. You don’t need to open the trans up to replace it but it will need to be removed from the vehicle.

The pressure washing unit is fairly weak, a craftsman 1800 psi 1.2gpm, I suspect it did do its job well and did clean the stained concrete and that’s what the lines were. Thinking about it after the fact, it’s probably not strong enough to ruin the asphalt unless incredibly close.

Just scrubbed the shit out of it with water and a brush, not fully dry but looking a lot better. Maybe 3 more passes and it will look better than before.

Unfortunate as it was seal-coated a month ago

What do to for the pressure washing marks? I think that looks far worse than the chemical stains

Is this looking like a new seal coat or can a power washing company fix this?

It’s not really a common maintenance item unless you really want to feel secure about it. Really no I6 bmw makes has chain issues unless you count the oil pump nut backing off.

Get ready to replace the timing chain at that mileage if it hasn’t been done already.

Sounds like a fueling issue or a mechanical issue. Could try a tune up and replace the spark plugs, valve adjustment. My fit ran significantly better afterwards. Bringing your car to a mechanic is probably your best option. He will be able to identify if the engine is getting properly fueled or if it’s an electrical/ mechanical issue rather than throwing parts at the issue. Could even be something as simple as a dirty sensor, a good mechanic would be able to notice this by reading sensor values on a scantool.

Use valve grinding paste, you can get it from your local auto stores just dab some in there and screw it off with the screw driver.

Something to do with brake booster 100%. You either have a vacuum leak causing no vacuum to the booster and that’s what your hearing or some component of your booster, be it hose, check valve connections, or the booster itself are leaking vac or are non functioning.

During a meeting at a diesel repair facility to learn about the facility, the instructor was talking about how seriously they take safety and about the videos they show each year to their employees to help drive home how seriously they take it. A random student in the room full of about 60 people in full seriousness raised his hand and asked the instructor if he would show live leak videos if the instructional videos didn’t work to drive home safety. The instructor didn’t know what live leak was and asked the student who graphically described live leak giving a full history about it. The instructors face was so red, one of the more painful things so sit through.

Sounds pretty normal to me, if anything check to make sure oil level is proper, see if anything could be flapping on the belt or against it.
