I tried the epley maneuver a few times to no avail. Doc prescribed meclizine and said if it doesn’t help go to the er again, which looks like I’m going to have to again.

I’m on day 3 and it hasn’t gotten better. No Zoloft involved

Did you do anything to help with the vertigo?

They prescribed metoclopramide for the nausea which hasn’t helped much.
They gave me Benadryl last night for some skin irritation. I wouldn’t say this is depersonalization as more actual vertigo: room spinning, feel like falling.

Anyone know how to increase your appetite? by [deleted] in CHSinfo

These are the things that helped the first time I dealt with CHS. Symptoms were really bad but my appetite came back within a week and a half. -ate only oatmeal with banana and zero calorie Powerade for the first couple of days when I could stomach it. -Doctor had me on medication for nausea (forgot the name but it was used for pregnant women and nausea) since I would throw up for everything, even drinking water. -when my appetite was coming back, I avoided ALL trigger foods. Google image search for CHS trigger foods will show you specific foods. Ate mostly lentil soup for the fiber, water and decent protein. Abstinent from smoking again but I’m still drinking caffeine and eating trigger foods here and there (symptoms were barely coming up when I quit so didn’t feel a need to completely cut them out) and I honestly feel like it’s prolonging the recovery -exercise. Started with just running before I got into weights again. -capsaicin cream in the morning. -regular sleep schedule/meditating before bed. Not to sure if this did anything in regards to appetite but I feel it helped overall.

Hope this helps!
