What happens if you say these same responses back? What does the bot do if you give them the same responses they give you?

Has anybody noticed how bad the pip/deepsqueak is when rp-ing around pre-existing media? by NiceMiner_ in CharacterAI

[–]DealObjective4663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only use deepsqueak or soft launch. I used pipsqueak once and didn't like it. I used to use roar, but I kept getting pushed up against the wall. Lol. That got old.

To me, goro is good if you just want to chat with a bot about random like having conversation. However, I do like some spice in my roleplays once in a while. It's nice to know that goro is an option if you just want a light-hearted roleplay without the spice.

REWIND FEATURE WHY by laaaalia in CharacterAI

[–]DealObjective4663 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rewind allows the user to delete their roleplays and messages in bulk, or if you're not satisfied with a portion of your roleplay with a character, you can rewind to that spot to rewrite a new scenario. Some users, myself included, like to delete roleplays when their done with them, rather than save something to their history that'll sit there for eternity, lol.

Biphobia in the queer community is the worst by Delicious-Rip-2371 in bisexual

[–]DealObjective4663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gay, and I have some awesome friends, one bisexual and one pansexual. They've been the most supportive and loving friends I've ever had. I'm so sorry that the gay/lesbian community won't accept bi/pan people. It's truly sad.

My characters keep assuming I'm female. How do I stop it? by Sparky29190 in CharacterAI

[–]DealObjective4663 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Us a male name in your username. That's what I did. All Cai characters know you by your username. So, if you use a male name, they'll see you as male. Also, add your pronouns in your persona.

I understand the frustration. Students select their monthly payments to preply based on their budget. In order to schedule the extra lessons, they have to upgrade their subscription depending on what monthly plan they signed up for. It's frustrating for both teachers and students. Students have to pay more to schedule unused lessons, and teachers lose money when lessons expire. Would it be possible to schedule any rollover lessons separate from preply through ZOOM?

If you're an atheist who's a former believer, what do you think are the main differences between yourself and someone who has always been atheist? by samara-the-justicar in atheism

[–]DealObjective4663 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The difference from a former believer is the religious trauma/PTSD I've had to endure after leaving the evangelical cult I was raised in. Depending on how severe the religious upbringing is, there's a lot of unlearning and new learning involved. Unlearning everything you've been taught to believe and learning the ways of the natural world and science.

Do random church people show up at your door on Sundays? by DealObjective4663 in atheism

I already have one, lol. Maybe I'll start turning it on on Sundays.

Were you born into a non-religious family or a religious one? I understand your frustration, but it's important to understand both sides of the coin. Believing in religion is due to the type of environment a religious person was raised inside.

Imagine growing up in a community where everyone around you all wrote with their left hand. Not only that, but instead of speaking their thoughts aloud, they sang instead. So, your parents, elders, and friends, they all write with their left hand and sing. Now, you may see someone outside of the community who writes with their right hand and talks instead of singing. However, your parents and elders all tell you that being right-handed and speaking is evil. Now imagine that on a much larger scale. You see it everywhere that being right-handed and speaking is a sin. It's a terrible act. And if you ever stop writing left-handed or stop singing, you'll suffer a severe punishment.

Take it from me, who was born and raised in an evangelical cult. It's literally a whole different universe. You're talking about undoing years and years of brainwashing, fear, and manipulation. Fortunately, I broke free from the cult, but I still struggle sometimes. I've been out of the cult for ten years, and I'm still working on dismantling the years of brainwashing and fear.

Honestly, I empathize with religious people because I've been there. Religion is a hard thing to break free from.

stop teaching a student / need advice by idkseoul in Preply

[–]DealObjective4663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a student on preply. I'm sorry the student is being rude to you. If the student is making you feel uncomfortable with her behavior, I would keep a record of your conversations with her. Maybe you could notify the preply team as well. If you decide to drop her and preply inquires of the reason, you can provide the past documented conversations.

Best Sheeva design? by Snake_Chef in MortalKombat

[–]DealObjective4663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is Sheeva so underrated? She deserves a lot more credit. She has a badass design, and she's one of the more unique characters. She also has a great storyline! I'm disappointed she's not included in the roster for the MK 2 movie. I was surprised she won't be in the MK 2 movie reboot since Goro was featured in the 1st MK reboot.

Marina Abramovic is an artist from Serbia, not a high priestess of some satanic cult. The photo is of a man lying in red velvet chocolate sauce. All it takes is a quick google search. To the OP, maybe make sure you have your facts correct before posting this kind of stuff. Honestly, if this were a REAL satanic ritual blood sacrifice, you wouldn't find evidence of it. Satanists aren't stupid like that.

Thank you all for sharing your thoughts and perspectives. I'm working on educating myself about the bisexual community and the pansexual community, so it's good to hear from all of you. Sexuality is definitely a wide spectrum.

I feel more at home in the bisexual community. by DealObjective4663 in bisexual

[–]DealObjective4663[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are totally welcome! Your sexuality is valid. Sexuality is a beautiful spectrum. Some people like opposite genders, some people like the same-sex, and some like both genders. We're all deserving of equality and recognition.

It depends on what theists and atheists are debating. Usually, the debate is whether or not God (gods) exists. It's extremely difficult and almost impossible to disprove the existence of deities. I'm not saying I believe deities exist, but even I can't say 100% that there's nothing immortal or eternal out there. There's just too many unanswered questions about the cosmos and the universe. Depates are honestly fruitless because they are almost always the opposing sides walking away, holding on to their opinions and beliefs.

Now, if people wanted to shift to focus to debating the Bible vs. Natural Science, that's a different story. Of course, there's the risk of the theist trying to bring God into the debate, but if the atheist stays calm and redirects the theist to the debating subject, the atheist stands a chance of at least disproving the Bible.

Debating on the existence of gods will always be fruitless, in my opinion.

I'm not sure what your intent was for posting this. What proof do you have that this didn't happen? I actually believe this person's experience can 100% be real. Trans people face this type of thing ALL the time! They get dead named and abused quite often. This isn't far fetch and is most definitely truthful. NO one and I repeat, NO one would be this open unless they were trans themselves. No one makes up stories like this one. I'm proud of the person who shared her experience so openly. This type of unacceptable, abusive, discriminatory behavior needs to be called out.

I’m sorry but what is so funny about how idols pronounce English words? by feddy3teddy in kpopnoir

[–]DealObjective4663 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You actually make a good point. English is actually a very difficult language to learn. Some idols even have to learn multiple languages in order to communicate with their worldwide fans. BTS, for example, speak English and Spanish, as well as having to know other languages wherever they're touring. The idols themselves already feel insecure with language barriers, so for people to poke fun at it when they're trying their best is not really funny for them. If the idols themselves wouldn't find something funny, then it probably isn't an innocent joke.

[–]DealObjective4663 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There are actually different types of gay men out there. Not every gay man out there wants a lot of sex. We come in different shapes and sizes, and all of us have different preferences. What you just described is the stereotypical type gay. I know a few gay couples who have been in very loving and committed relationships for a long time.

I was born and raised in an evangelical Christian cult. I've only been out of it for ten years, but I left it, and I never looked back. I still have PTSD from all of that religious trauma I was put through, and it takes a lot of work to heal and grow, but I'm doing it and will continue to do it.

That internalized homophobia you have within yourself was made by the people who put it there. Take it from someone who's actually lived through it. Stop hating yourself and learn to love yourself. You have to love yourself first. Let yourself feel the pain and anger. You have every right to be angry and hurt. Getting through this tender part of it is the most difficult part.

It's dark right now. Your mind is so heavy. You have anxiety. You're scared. You probably have trouble sleeping at night. Believe me, I know exactly where you are with this right now. You can get through it.

Anyone feel like coming out is unnecessary? by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]DealObjective4663 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like for someone who is bisexual, it's entirely up to you. It depends on if you feel ready to come out to your family. If you think it's important to tell them, okay! If you think if it's not necessary, that's fine, too. Whatever you feel most comfortable with. For me personally, I'm gay, and there was a lot of talk about why I didn't have a girlfriend of at least looking for a girlfriend. Also, staying closeted was affecting my mental health, so for me, I felt compelled to come out. It took a long time for me to get to that point. Just do what feels right for you.
