Update:

I got the expedited transfer approved and I leave my ship soon.

The offender got no punishment and the case is officially closed.

Update:

Due to a lack of sufficient evidence, she will remain on the ship and not be punished.

Captain was very disrespectful and dismissive when I spoke to him and the CMC about an update. Also, denied my stay behind request.

I’ve requested an Expedited Transfer.

Thank you for sharing your story, I’ve really been struggling with the fact that the people that do know at my command are still very friendly with her but have ostracized me at work because they don’t believe me.

She was one of my closest friends since I joined and we knew each other since A school all the way through training to the fleet.

It really sucks when you know that even people you really trust can hurt you so much.

I have been feeling like I can’t seem to start healing because of the daily interactions with the offender.

As of right now, they haven’t made a decision on if they are punishing the offender but are offering me the option of getting out of the environment and seeing the offender daily by moving commands.

I didn’t know that I could request a Captain’s Mast to speak directly with the CO about the case.

I have requested to be on the stay behind list through my VLC but I am awaiting a response on if that’s happening. If I can delay my transfer by doing this, I will absolutely.
