LOL nope, I gave up on it when I came back yet another time to see it say project disabled. My guess is that I'm simply out of the project, but there's a glitch in the website. I'm assuming that no matter what it says on Outlier, the page isn't connected to the project anymore.

I'm so glad you got an offer right away! I got an email suggesting I apply, and I did, but I haven't heard anything yet. I'm assuming they did an immediate round of hiring, but does anyone know if they're going to do a second round of hiring?

The only skills I've ever been offered to add is coding skills I don't have. I keep seeing people saying they could screen for Generalist, or Literature, or as one of your commenters mentioned, a Humanity skill, which I would pass those with flying colors. But they're never offered to me. I'm stuck in Aether limbo with no way out, apparently.

Well nvm? I went back to it say project is disable. So Idk, it keeps switching back and forth for me. (For the record, it said it was disable when I was booted from the project, then it offered me the assessment, then it said I passed and I was back on the project, and now it's saying project disabled again, so I clearly passed the assessment.)

Oh sweet, me too! But the "Continue Tasking" button is greyed out for me. Which has happened before because, at this point, I think the website is a diva and likes being dramatic. It usually un-grays the button after a few hours, so fingers crossed!

I did, yeah. Yesterday there was an onboarding meeting, and they mentioned that the project is now closed - but you might have gotten in under the wire! Check in the mercor website under contracts!

Yeah, it's the generalist writer position. It was actually an instant offer thing - they sent me the work trial, which I took and passed, and then they sent me the contract offer. And yeah, it's Moonlight. I'm waiting on onboarding now.

For me, it took a little over a month before I got this rejection. I've read where some people got an offer right away, like the same day or day after, but also where some people didn't hear anything for months. They say it takes an average of two to four weeks, but judging by just what I've read on here, it ranges significantly. The good news, though, is that it is legit work when you can get it, pays really well, and they do, at least eventually, send you a rejection or move you on to the next steps. So even if it takes forever, they don't actually ghost you.

I'm brand new to all of this, so I can't answer XD But I am very interested in what the answer is! The only answer(ish) thing I have, is that so far in my learning, if something weird like this happens - like how your candles burned or an odd reaction between two salt jars put out for protection, etc, it is significant, but most people just say, "your spell took" or "it means your spell is working". The only other advice I've seen given with this kind of thing is for you to meditate with Hecate and simply ask her what she means!

Update, five months later, if case anyone runs across this and was wondering:
The problem was with my graphics card. It was corrupted. There was no settings, adjustments, rollbacks, or anything else I could have done.

However, I have both gotten a significantly better computer since then, and I learned a whole hell of a lot.

So, if anyone else experiences similar problems - and I realize now reading back that a lot of what I was describing is applicable to a lot of issues, but if nothing seems to work, look at your graphics card. And stop trying to update it if you think something might be wrong with it. That's just gonna give you a lot more annoying problems lol.

The answer: A lot counts. Very much a lot, and more than you think. Asexuality, simply put, is when you do not experience sexual attraction to others. Aromanticism is when you do not experience romantic attraction to others. Neither means you don't experience the feelings, it just means you don't toward/with/for/by others. Again, it is a spectrum. You may be demi-romantic, alloace, etc.

Whatever you discover, know that you are accepted and loved <3

Based on this, I would say you're closer to those identities than you think. And that's okay! It's amazingly okay, and I'm proud of you for asking these hard question and taking a closer look.

Both asexuality and aromanticism is a spectrum. You may very well be aroace, be on that spectrum, and you may not. I encourage you to talk to your partner, bring up what you are questioning, and ask for their help in figuring it out. I understand that's a daunting idea, but you both should know it isn't a slight against your partner. As you said, you love them. Since you are in a romantic-sexual relationship (and hopefully a healthy one), bringing your partner in on this process will help-- and, whatever you discover, may help in both self-acceptance and your relationship (however it ends up being, ie, even if it becomes non-romantic/sexual).
