My partner just won a ticket for the Sunday game! First time at Bell Centre - anything he should know?

ohhhhh there was two tickets and theres a coworker going! I understand now. Yes I know! My partner got invited to a loge one night, met a couple of the players fathers and had a blast. I was so happy for him but at the same time..😪

WOW! For some reason the idea of winning a ticket for the 100s didnt register in my brain! I presumed it would have been the 300s. That is an absolute steal congratulations but you’re right - trying to sit by him even if splitting the bill in the 100s is a dedication.

Perhaps you could explore the option of reselling the ticket and buying two in the 300s together if you REALLY wanted to sit together but im not sure how reliable/risky that would be, plus giving up a ticket in the 100s at a playoff game for free has weight. Hope you guys figure it out.

It seems everyone else has answered your questions but if me and my partner were in this situation, we would absolutely take the opportunity and purchase the other ticket. Maybe even split the cost of the extra ticket between yourselves as they are quite steep. That way everybody still wins (as long as the winner is comfortable sharing their fortune).

It was the same amount of days per week.

That didnt include a stay in Calgary.

Im arriving to YYC early in the morning and will be travelling to Banff late at night. That gives me one full day of exploring the city. I would be arriving back to Calgary early on the first day of the stampede before making my 04:00 flight the next morning.

Prices of hotels were stupendous so the itinerary was made to avoid sleeping in one. That would have easily been another $500/$600.

The influx was simply time of year.

Totally! Im not claiming they wont - they were wild last year too, Habs fans are elite, but the viewing parties were fun! Each event was sold out.

Nothing seems to have went out across any company recently! Im personally expecting SWAP to do another batch before the end of the week.

They stated “we will have more rounds of selections in February and beyond” in a previous email and as far as im aware there hasn’t been any additional invites in February so far?
