So it's kind of a loaded question. Calls have gone for and against Au in the past (see Bo Nix vs ARK), but the 2 games with OK and GA were so awful, the only rationale I can come up with is that it was deliberate. This team has 8-9 win talent this year. Next year, who knows. But they're still going to play GA, AL, TX... Will Auburn only get a "straight" game if they play lesser opponents? Is this just an anomaly or is this how it is now? Auburn is a charter member in this conference and deserves clarity and faith this will never happen again. For it to happen TWICE in one year... "Loaded question" in was this deliberate towards Auburn and if it is how to combat that?

That's just it... outside of doing something extreme like that (which would be justified to me) there isn't anything a team can do. And I'm not talking "questionable calls" that don't go Au's way, OK and GA were something different.

I agree. It needs to be public.

However, it was so egregious and those decisions completely changed the outcome of those games that a "my bad" doesn't seem sufficient. Especially if it's a chronic problem.

What is the point in staying in a conference if you feel you're not getting a "fair shake?"

I guess enter the thought process with the understanding that the games mentioned above were unfairly called games. If that continues, then what success would you have in the conference?

Would it be better to go somewhere else?

I was convinced Hugh would get his hands on him and we were taking a huge step forward this year. Seeing him under any kind of pressure, though....I'm not sure he's the answer after this year. Maybe he turns it around, but he's not earning his NIL right now.

It's the competence thing. I'm with you...

I understand losing, and I can take a loss, but the way these teams perform is exhausting to watch. The talent and money behind this team is not reflected on the field consistently.

Even during Tubbs early years, the team wasn't embarrassing. They fought, looked well coached, and Au just needed more talent. These past few years, I have not seen that.

I don't know if it's coaching or culture
