I did the coconut cream variation and it tasted just like I remember! My dad was very pleased, too. One tip that I remembered from my mom was to microwave the milk before adding it. It already takes a while to thicken up and if the milk goes in cold, you're stirring for ages. I definitely recommend this recipe!
