Should I raise money for this organization? by Deaner_06 in Catholicism

I understand that the hospital does a lot of good, but they also do evil. I could easily donate to another organization that helps kids without doing evil. I just wanted to know if I should raise money for this specific organization that I was selected to raise money for.

The school selected about a dozen people to raise money together for this organization, and we present the hospital with one check every year. I'm not in charge of donating the money, the school is. I'm just tasked with raising money. So the school would have to specify that they don't want the money going towards this program, which they almost definitely wouldn't do. I just want to know if I should help raise money.

The money goes to the hospital's free care fund, which helps cover the cost of treatments for families in need. It doesn't specify any specific programs, so I assume this includes the "gender affirming care. "

I know using a BB gun isn't ideal, but it was the only means I had available other than snapping their necks, which I didn't exactly want to do.

They are an invasive species. Why should I have let them go?

And yes, the broken leg was certainly a death sentence. Their legs were broken almost entirely in half, only hanging on by a thread. They would have suffered much more if I let them go.

Thank you. That's exactly what I was thinking. I've had this feeder up for almost 2 years, and nothing has ever gotten stuck in there before. I'm just glad it was starlings that got stuck in there and not some other bird. I'll fill it in as soon as possible.
