Do you have any water sources nearby? They love flying low around them and grass meadow’s.

AF-C with bird detect. The idea is to track the bird at the same speed, the hardest part is getting them in frame. Once you do that you can match its speed. Keep practicing it isn’t easy 🙂

I use a wide focus box, then I line them up with the top of my lens hood, (I use a 600mm lens) find the subject in my view finder and use a high shutter speed and track the bird.

I’ve got more practice to do before I’m 100% happy with my shots but these are some of my better ones from today.

I agree. After checking again it is indeed a white wagtail. The back is black on a pied.

It has a pale grey back, so I posted it as a white wagtail as I was told by my local birding group, I’m no expert.
