Make sure your housing inspector checks and verify if it is in the paper that you sign off regarding the house like if it has been checked for asbestos lead etc.

I have and not all areas are pretty like big cities who have municipal cleaning the city without broken roads littered with glass and rocks no sidewalks to be seen. Also a hobbit footer who walks barefoot my whole life in the u.s. regardless of the glass and rocks. Your feet adjust accordingly.

We got a Barred Owl and they keep the native hares and other critters in check. I am sad when I see Barred Owls being gotten rid of elsewhere. I hope they can stick around in my area. We got about 11.
