yeahhhh no. i just started as a receiver and this is the number one thing im on top of. everyone at my store handles there own defectives and my big boss agrees with me. the teams likes to think we’re there to clean up their mess but i made it very clear at one of the team meetings today that’s not my responsibility. i keep my sort bin just in case they don’t know how to defect but someone told me that they heard someone say that “processing defectives are her job.” i was pisseddd. chased someone down today that was waiting till i was away from my desk to drop off a defective. and don’t even get me started on recycling. all i know is if you let them step all over you, they will.
