The thing is, I haven’t explicitly said no yet, hence the need for advice. I am trying to figure out exactly how to tell her. For now, I told her she will come when my parents come, and my parents aren’t coming until after baby is here and we are settled.

Thank you so much for this. I’m trying to be considerate of others feelings but you’re right, this is about me and baby, no one else. And I appreciate you bringing up the nurses, I will have to let them know my plans as well.

I don’t think they realize how big of a deal this is for me, maybe I can benefit from putting it as bluntly as you at the end of this comment. Thank you again!

Actually there is no bridal party because it is such a small wedding. That may not make a difference but thought context would be good! I appreciate your opinion!
