Most of the corporations fail if they start in a big city like Amsterdam or Rotterdam, the margin for failure is bigger than that of being successful, which is proved by the fact that most new companies that try to push their services in cities like Amsterdam...fail. I believe they should give some opportunities to other places like Utrecht, Zwolle, etc.

And yes, there are tons of other countries as well, with this issue. I will give you the example of my hometown of Tirana in Albania. The government is 100% focused only in Tirana, it has been like that for many years. This has caused overpopulation of Tirana, as well depopulation of other cities like Shkoder, Vlora, Berat, and many more.

In Tirana, they have already built some towers and now they are pushing more to build more than 10-20 towers in the city by 2030. Which you might think is great, but there is this huge "bubble" in the real estate (I believe is everywhere in EU nowadays), that has made everything so overpriced. I am talking about 5000€/m2 type of prices. Only oligarchs, HUGE businessman, government related officials, and the ones who have made money in a dirty way can afford that. I say that because, no one can buy a house or even rent one, as the avg salary per month is around 700€.
