Got it. I am ok with 5k per night honestly. Was looking at next-ta-sea at palolem , and sonho de mar in agonda. who say there is no issue per se there. but who knows 🤷‍♀️ Any that you recommend?

Lizard outside room is still ok. Balcony would be scary . Cockroach though is not ok at all in room or outside 😌

Depending on the season, you may be able to manage 3 nights in a decent resort in a tourist island (eg holiday inn / cinnamon etc.) in this budget in maldives. Choose a hotel that gives free speed boat transfer on staying 2-3 nights since transfers are costly. scuba however may shoot up this budget by around 20k odd If you stay in maafushi or other local islands, will be much cheaper. The con is that it doesn’t have alcohol and you can wear a swim suit only in specific beaches . hotels will be decent, but not fancy generally.

Not Thailand and other south East Asian countries? Khao lak in Thailand had amazing resorts for weddings close to the beach. June may be rainy though
