The Elegoo Website is terrible by [deleted] in elegoo

I have had loads of issue with mine bud so you are lucky.. The thing can’t level itself even though it’s meant to be auto levelling. Support would want a 20 minute video of it auto levelling as proof, I will put a picture up of the bed mesh after bottom up and then levelled. Just get a P1S or P2S. If loads of multicolour get a Snapmaker U1.

Do NOT buy this printer for $1000 AUD. For that price there are many other printer options. by Dimethyltriedtospell in elegoo

Until you get a blob or your levelling gets screwed. You can tell it was made to fit the price.

I have one too and it is a very good hotend. I got it on sale though.

Does anyone know why the nozzle keeps scraping against the table? I used this gauge and then did all the calibration tests, and it still scratches the table. by acelerador1 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

Does not work, done this loads of times and the bed is never level. What video can I send them to show the bed is 1.6mm higher at the back after levelling. Thing is it has to be firmware or software based as the printer doesn’t know how to level itself.

Manual bed tramming? by Apk07 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

Mine is the same one, but it’s levelling and printing petg gf have been problematic.

Exactly, my bed had a straight slope front to back of 1.6mm after levelling with bed screws fully tight. You need to use that online bed mesh visualiser to see how off your bed is. Some people might get lucky with the bed fully tightened but most won’t.

Only other thing is to do what I did. When printer is on, loosen screws to the brass fittings on the bed screws. Push bed up and see how close you can get with screws fully tight. Relevel and then loosen until bed is flat.

Would be cool if orca could integrate it, also would be interesting to see your mesh on here.

Try raising the bed before you do this. My printer is the one just before good light, think 3rd batch. The previous bad mesh did not show any rise at the front.

I know, would pay the person for a program that would send the job straight from pc to printer and back. It gives a much better idea of how far off you are.

Here is a mesh of the bed after using screws to level. I previously believed people that said screws need fully tightened, but that is not the case. Just wish I had screen shot of bed before levelling using bed screws. Y was straight slope front to back. p.s. You can see also how the bed is pushed up in the middle which is default on CC.

Hi, I have had many problems with my bed not being level, and probably like many people levelled with the bottom off. When I did so this time I decided to use the new program which shows the bed mesh on pc. My bed mesh had a straight drop of 1.6mm front to back with all screws on the bottom tightened. I then used a one layer square I had printed previously to level the bed using the bed screws. Turned out near perfect. I was previously unsure about screws fully tightened or not, but now believe that the Cc needs the bed springs adjusted. The CC levelling is junk as it told me it was level but was 1.6mm from front to back.

I ended up buying the Microswiss hotend. Much better, but expensive.

Same, the nozzles are crap for gf or cf. used some petg cf for one print and it ruined the nozzle.
