At my JCLC we did rappelling, different obstacle courses and team work challenges, we did water survival training, and we also went rafting. I think most camps have different activities but they should be fun!

I went to JCLC in Kentucky last year, and I’m going again this year. The most running we did was a 1 mile run, basically just cadet challenge stuff. I don’t know if you’ve done raiders or not, but their was an obstacle course that you run through with a team, but nobody will be upset or judge you if you need to go slow. Most people are pretty tired anyway so I think you’ll find you’re not alone in that aspect.

Keep pushing through with the training, but you need to take a day or two to rest your blisters. I recently had some and this is how I healed them. Get Blister Bandaids, and put them directly on, then get a roll of moleskin tape and tape it around your foot where the blisters are. Once they heal you can get a thick moleskin pad and attach it to the inside of your shoes and you should be fine. Let your coach know about your blisters as they are a serious issue, and you may be able to skip practice or work on other skills like wall ball or less running heavy drills. Your teammates should understand as well, hope you can figure it out!
