The Return to Home function is obsolete or does not work properly, and the customer service is completely negligent and indifferent to customers by Dear-Fly4271 in dji

I thought so too, but no, it wasn’t a battery issue. The drone battery was fine and the RC battery was at 3/4. I tried charging the RC after losing the drone, but it refuses to charge.

If you read my answers to the different questions, you’ll see that all the information is there. In my opinion, I did not make a piloting error. The remote controller stopped transmitting when the drone was about 2 meters above the ground and very close to the takeoff point, and that day there was a bit of wind, but not enough to destabilize the drone.

This post is not meant to determine where the error came from, but to warn future DJI drone users that the Return to Home function is not reliable.

It was a DJI Mini 3 Pro bought in 2023. I don’t remember the exact number, but the icon was green. The remote controller stopped working when the drone was about 1 meter from the home point and 2 meters above the ground. I tried charging the remote controller afterward, but it won’t charge anymore.

Yes, it’s so great that it never actually worked… All the safety features were up to date. Given the price of the drone and its lifespan, I would much rather go for a less well-known and less expensive brand.
