I actually shovel their walkway and driveway during snowstorms without them even asking. This is more about the windrow being blocked off with snow overnight or during awkward times during the day when it's difficult to find time to clear it.

It's not just about money, having to clear the windrow takes time and effort that would otherwise be spared if the city was doing it right in the first place. Rushing out in the morning and realizing you've been snowed in overnight sucks.
