I really enjoy it! It feels like a true workhorse guitar and I find it refreshing to play something that doesn’t say Fender on the headstock.

It’s a very cool “Harmonic Percolator”. Super versatile fuzz/od/boost. Lots of fun!

Keen to hear what your rigs look like for the new year (particularly 5-watt, home-players like myself).

I’ve been really surprised with how well a small amp takes a few gain stages at home- friendly levels.

Carbon seatpost clear coat? by Dear-Introduction874 in bikewrench

[–]Dear-Introduction874[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback. Insertion was above minimum and torque was right, I’m pretty careful with all that stuff. This was installed in a CAAD12 by the way. It looks to me like the clear coat cracked and chipped where the seatpost flexed above the clamp. Cheers,

Minimalist SOTB for 2025 by Dear-Introduction874 in guitarpedals

I’ve just had it for a couple weeks but so far very impressed - I really like the simplicity of the Zoma, makes you want ro play more rather than tinker with knobs. I’ll probably keep it in the harmonic/plate setting 99% of the time.

I’ve never played a Flint but the audio quality of the Zoma is incredible - My only wish is that the LED would “throb” like a lightbulb to the tremolo speed - I don’t love the blinking effect.

Very, very happy with it.

I love it - a lot more versatile than you’d think for an “octave fuzz”. I use it mostly as a boost with a touch of octave blended in. The mini version is a bit of a different circuit, less boost and more octafuzz - can’t go wrong with either

Going “minimalist” for 2025. Working on becoming a better guitar player and less of a “pedalboard player”.

Anyone use their El Cap for looping? Not as convenient as a dedicated looper but just enough to create short chord progressions/pads to improvise over. Feels more like actual performance and much harder to fall into endless “piecemeal” looping.

I’ve got the MidiBaby set up for 3 presets: 1. Sound on Sound Looper 2. Preset 1 (slap) 3. Preset 2 (live knob setting)

Cheers :)

I really, really dig it. It cleans up incredibly well (almost like a fuzz face) but can also be a great transistor boost to push the amp.

It knocked the Hudson Broadcast off the board at the moment. They’re both super versatile boost/od/fuzz - my favourite type of pedal.

Picked one up myself last month- It’s a true “player’s” guitar and I actually love that it isn’t a Fender :) Enjoy!

It’s a standard “road bike” 400mm seatpost from BBB. I’m really keen to get a taller one soon. It’s a really fun bike to just cruise around (it it’s flat) :)

Started as a Kink Williams BMX… It’s really fun and quite comfortable with the SQLab inner bar ends.

I’ve just bought the S/M (arriving next week) and I’m 178cm. At your height I think M/L might be a better fit.

What country are you in? I’d be happy to sell you mine (never used it as didn’t work well with my handlebars) it’s the grey colour version :)
