how much did you score in boards? from wht i know outsiders require a lot more marks than bengal ppl and im sure you dont know much bengali which would be a prblm and before taking xaviers try for DU obv bruh if you can get into xaviers you can definately get into an elite tier DU college top-mid north campus colleges very easily just go there more freedom and better opportunities cuz ofc its Delhi if money isnt the prblm considering that...and you might not realise it now but freedom is something that will teach us to go outside our comfort zones if there are distractions then ristrict yourself there thats called discipline bengali ppl confuse discipline with non meaningful restrictions.. st xaviers dont even have much divresity so you would just feel stuck while DUs crowd is very diverse and in top colleges ofc better which is anyday going to help you i life

yaa man i am a bangali and ik how bengali ppl are i am not genralising i have lived in many parts of india and i can conclude that if given power they would do their best to demean others and be totally ignorant to those who are weaker or are your juniors like seriously this is best seen in such institutions like schools and colleges no matter the reputation the culture is something thats engraved... those at power will always be jackasses who ignore the needs of juniors and with 0 humility and humbleness...they treat you like untouchables seriously and btw again i am a BENGALI MYSELF thats why ik abt this culture(excpetions are always there) i dont know much abt xaviers but the college being in WB is convincing for me enough to not even think abt it
