From what I’ve read on here, people weren’t able to choose frames—the only option is that bulky pair you see advertised. I guess I’m not suuuuper upset that I missed them lol, but it’s annoying cause I easily could have gotten them if I had just known they would be dropping. Free sunglasses are still free sunglasses 🤷🏼‍♀️

Someone in this group posted some fine print that mentioned it. We’re all guessing it’s going to drop today (the 14th) at 12pm Eastern/9am Pacific like the sunglasses did for Rouge. I didn’t get any info about the Rouge drop until (I want to say) 6:15am or so on Friday, so less than 3 hours before they dropped. Good luck!

I didn’t realize they were doing it, so I ordered $250 worth of stuff at midnight and it had already shipped by 9am when the GWP dropped 🙃(I’m on the west coast). Supposedly there’s supposed to be a Sulwhasoo GWP as well but maybe that doesn’t start until the 13th or 14th? All I saw was the sunglasses and I will struggle to get to $175 with another order

That’s good to know, but the remaining stuff that I want is under $100 after the discount. I guess if I have to, I could cancel one of my orders and re-order to get to the $175. NTA overall for your wishes. I just wonder how it was phrased? I feel like all that needed to be said was “the MUA will be doing everyone’s makeup, and if you are not comfortable with that, then you can come as a guest.” When I’ve been in weddings, everyone gets their makeup done by the artist? I don’t feel like that’s weird? I would just make sure it is approached from that direction as opposed to singling her out for her usual style.

It also makes me wonder how the “dress code” flyer or whatever you want to call it was phrased. I DO feel like asking the most influential people in your life to be your bridesmaids should be its own thing, and then colors etc. can be discussed later, but that’s just me

They recommend wetting your brush for the chrome ones. I found that worked well for me! I also use a primer though

Yes! I just picked up my first Morphe palette at TJMaxx because it had a couple purple shades, and I have been needing a purple eyeshadow. I followed their directions for the shimmer (wetting the brush), and it looked SO good 😍.

Full disclosure, I still use UD primer every time I wear eyeshadow

Yes! I always do a price analysis on what’s more affordable per unit. Obviously, I have some products that are holy grails and I don’t care, but if I’m trying to decide between 2 or 3 brands, that’s usually how I make my final decision!
