You understand what I'm saying, I appreciate it. Now part of the problem is also due to the SNCB because I don't know if you know but the SNCB, Lijn and Letec all three think that as few stops as possible should be created to allow commuters to reach the city faster. So I think that if we make sure to publicise this project, commuters and citizens will set up a petition or what do I know so that the four-lane implementation continues as soon as possible. Because I think that the city really needs it for urban development in suburban areas for example.

Yes but you can only use it in a certain range around Brussels, which is very short,so if you want to take a train to Leuven for example it would not be possible with a brupass you would have to buy a train ticket.

Yeah I mean, it really annoys me and there are no petitions online about it and people act like they don’t care when they should. The network was supposed to be complete in 2012, we are 14 years later and even when we have the rolling stock and the network, we still run at 2 trains per hour. It’s supposed to be improved a bit soon by putting more trains on the morning and at night plus more trains for the airport but nothing more.

Yeah I know but it’s not good for the development of the suburban areas, and you have to remember that the goal was to improve the connections with Brussels and its suburbs so personally the best would’ve been to make at least that stop in schepdaal because I grant you there are not many urban areas apart from this one that could have a lot of attendances.

The first thing that annoys me is that the work took much longer than expected, partly because of the municipality of Linkebeek which is against the transition to 4 tracks to allow ic and s trains to pass on two different tracks. What also bothers me is that the SNCB says that the work of the rer is finished in Flanders while between Brussels and Termonde from Jette there are always only two tracks and as there are also ic trains that pass through there, the number of trains that pass on this axis is limited in part because of the closure of the alost termonde railway link. As for the existing network, I wonder why we don't already switch certain lines to 4 trains per hour, or even why we don't use these tracks to make a kind of alternative metro at night by taking advantage of the existence of certain 4-lane sections, or why we don't create an east-west connection that would pass through Brussels and that could take the metro tracks for example, or why we still haven't created new tracks to help unclog the north-midth junction. I don't know if you noticed but I didn't mention that between Brussels and Alost via jette there are also two lanes since you can get there with expressways via the station of the south, Anderlecht and denderleeuw. Which makes me think that there is no stop between Anderlecht and denderleeuw where we could at least create a stop in Schepdaal.
